Gift Bags for Families with Children in the RNICU.

  Each bag will have a sponsor's or donors name attached.

Life in the RNICU isn't easy.  We want to help.

• A gift bag will be given to all "heart babies" in the RNICU at UAB courtesy of Gabe's Hope.
• This bag has baby and parent essentials to get through those first few, and last couple of days there.
• Each bag will contain the following kinds of items: the bag itself, good for toting all your belongings around the hospital, a lovey for your baby's isolette for when you can't be there, a note pad to jot down questions for the doctor, or those words you'll need to remember later, snacks, toiletries, baby socks and mama socks, something to read, and a water bottle to stay hydrated - which is important if you just had a baby! 
• Remember parents - you need to take care of you too!
• Also, Sunny, the music therapist has allowed us to copy her music on a CD for each family.  Thank you!
